The Duffield name is well established at Aldreds not just because Mark has spent 50 years at the firm as his father was senior partner for many years. Mark is a Director and the chairman of the company. Mark undertakes professional and consulting work in his position as a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and will also turn his hand back to good old fashioned estate agency with his large client bank. Mark is a keen sailor and was behind the reestablishment of The Great Yarmouth Yacht Club. Mark lives in Beccles with his wife
Dan joined Aldreds as a negotiator in our Great Yarmouth office in 2001 after training and working in Norwich for two years. Soon after he took over as manager of Gorleston office where he established the office as market leader during his tenure. He became a Director in 2007. In 2023 he moved to a position of overseeing the company operations whilst continuing to service clients and customers through all of our offices. Dan lives in Ormesby St Margaret with his family and is currently a keen golfer having previously played football and cricket at local levels as well being an outstanding junior tennis player. In the community Dan is a past governor of Caister Junior School.
Paul joined Aldreds in 2007 after a career with a competitor and initially excelled overseeing our office in Acle. His remit soon extended to cover the whole of the Broadland and North East Coast areas and today, he oversees operations at our Broadland/Stalham office. Now a Director of the business, Paul enjoys sailing locally and lives in Acle, the Gateway to the Broads with his wife and three children. He is also a keen and dedicated fan and season ticket holder at Norwich City FC.
Chris Joined Aldreds in 2020 after 25 years at a local competitor. He is Associate Director overseeing our sales operations in Great Yarmouth and the villages to the north and west. Having worked in this area his knowledge and experience is second to none and this is evident by the amounts of customers that return to Chris year after year. In his younger years Chris was an outstanding centre forward and played regional level football but more recently can be found on The Links at Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club where he is a member. Chris lives in Ormesby St Margaret with his family.
Jackie is one of Aldreds longest serving employees having joined us in the late 1990’s. Originally working in Acle office, she moved to our commercial department in 2008 and has been working in and then managing the office in Great Yarmouth Residential sales for over 10 years. Jackie is the backbone of the office selling properties, updating and speaking to all people in property transactions as well as making sure the administration of the office runs smoothly. Originally from Nottinghamshire, Jackie moved to Norfolk in 1994.
This is Lewis second time at Aldreds having originally worked at both our Gorleston and Great Yarmouth offices between 2005 and 2008. Having tried a new career, Lewis couldn’t stay away from property and after a long and distinguished career at a local auction specialist the bug to work on front line estate agency got him! And he returned to Aldreds in 2024. Lewis enjoys splitting his time between getting sales together and people moved in the office and being out meeting house buyers at viewings. Lewis lives in Lowestoft with his partner.
Michael joined Aldreds Lowestoft office in the summer of 2023 originally in our Lowestoft office but swiftly moved to Great Yarmouth office due to his passion for being out in the field meeting customers at viewings. Famed for his can do attitude he is often the man you will meet when viewing properties with Aldreds although he is also passionate about giving great service when in office selling on the phone. Michael lives in Hopton with his family and is a keen Norwich City FC fan
Mollie joined Aldreds at the start of 2026 and is the newest member of our team. Hailing from Gorleston and joining Aldreds after a career in dentistry to chase her ambition of working in property, Mollie is in charge of making sure the office administration is up to date and supporting the sales team. She has also started conducting property viewings, handling new offers and sales progression
Susie has been with Aldreds 15 years and has always worked in our Property Lettings and Management department based in Great Yarmouth. Susie has previously worked at other estate agents and financial advisors in the town and has a strong relationship with our landlords as she is responsible for the application and move in process for our let properties. Susie lives in Great Yarmouth
Sharon joined us in 2026 to oversee and develop our operations whilst embracing the changes that residential lettings is going through so such as the Renters Rights Bill and Selective Licensing of Landlords in Great Yarmouth. Sharon moved to Bradwell recently after a long and successful career working for various corporate and independent letting agents in the East Midlands where she gained a reputation as a first class operator in Lettings and Property Management.
Michelle joined Aldreds over 20 years ago, initially as a administrator in our Great Yarmouth sales office, however, she moved in to our Property Management and Letting department in around 2012. Michelle handles much of the repairs and issues that tenants raise and landlords expect us to handle for them with care and precision, deals with general enquiries and assists Susie with move ins and applications where necessary. Michelle lives in the Broadland area
This is the second time Vicky has worked at Aldreds after taking a break when she had her family and we were delighted to welcome her back 10 years ago. Vicky loves to be out of the office meeting tenants and carries out the majority of our periodic property inspections picking up issues in our landlord’s properties before any defects grow, reporting back and helping manage repairs and upgrades. Vicky also carries out viewings with prospective tenants and assists in the office.
Finley joined us in 2024 after a career in both accounts and marketing in Norwich. Finley deals with incoming enquiries, books and carries out viewing as well as making sure landlords stay compliant with gas and electric certificates. Finley is a keen gamer and lives in the Broadland area with his family
Rachel joined us in 2025 after a 35 year career in accounts in Norwich to assist Susan Taylor in our accounts department. Rachel is assisting Susan whilst taking the lead dealing with our rare tenant arrears and rent reviews on behalf of our landlords. Rachel is based in our Great Yarmouth office and lives in Caister with her family
Sue’ has worked at Aldreds over 45 years and her experience and knowledge of our clients and let properties is invaluable. She is our main contact for customers within our Property Management department with regards to rent payments and finance matters. Sue helps to make the financial aspect of their property let run as smoothly as possible.
A career estate agent, Tim joined us in 2023 after a career going back to 1986 mostly in and around Norwich. Formerly a Gorleston Grammar School boy Tim has an amazing eye for detail and is committed to spending as much time with a client as necessary to deliver the service they expect. Tim is the head of our operations in NR31 and carries out many sales valuations and accompanied viewings as well as dealing with customers in office. Tim is a keen golfer at Eaton golf club and lives in Thorpe St Andrew with his wife.
Danny carries out sales valuations for the Gorleston office and joined us from a competitor in 2024. Danny has been popular with customers since he arrived. As well as sales valuations, Danny carries out viewings and keeps in regular contact with our sellers through the process of finding a buyer for their home. Danny has recently become a Dad and lives with his family in Carlton Colville.
Melissa started as the ‘Saturday Girl’ in Lowestoft office 20 years ago and spent 10 years in Lowestoft office whilst extending her hours. She moved to be Gorleston office manager around 10 years ago and has been hugely successful in the role and very popular with many returning customers. Mel is the anchor in the office dealing with offers, enquiries and progressing sales. Melissa lives in Hopton with her family.
Louis…what can we say. He joined us in 2023 and his enthusiasm and passion to do his best for his clients is best demonstrated by the stream of positive reviews he receives. Louis lives in Oulton with his family and is keen baker when he isn’t hitting the gym!
Darren has been working in estate agency in Lowestoft for many years and is a familiar face around the town. Darren joined us in 2018. He carries out the majority of the sales valuations for the Lowestoft office and oversees the effective running of the office as a whole. With his year of experience his knowledge of property in the Lowestoft area is second to none. Although originally a Lowestoft lad, Darren currently resides in Hemsby with his family and is a keen football fan
Joining Aldreds from a competitor in 2008 Tara has been the backbone of the Lowestoft office for many years. Tara is based in the office and oversees the smooth running of all office operation and is in charge of progressing and handling all ongoing sales. With her length of service, she has helped move some customers multiple times. Tara lives in Lowestoft with her family
‘Rick’ joined Aldreds in 2012 after a brief career with a corporate agent in the town. Starting his career with us in Lowestoft office he moved to Great Yarmouth office for a time but is now back home! Richard has a very diverse role which includes carrying out sales valuation, keeping our sellers updated with progress & marketing and carrying out the bulk of the accompanied viewings. An accomplished negotiator he also works hard on challenging matters to get our clients the best price for their properties. A keen and often injured footballer Richard lives in Carlton Colville.
Eleanor started 11 years ago in our Great Yarmouth office as an apprentice and has been on a real journey with Aldreds working in three out of the four offices. Having spent many years in Great Yarmouth office, when the firm reopened after the Covid 19 lockdown she headed to Gorleston office. She moved to Lowestoft office in 2024 and has thrived in her role. Eleanor spends most of her time in office dealing with enquiries, negotiating offers and is a precise and skilled administrator. Eleanor lives in Bradwell with her family
Kelsie is our newest member of staff in Lowestoft office and has is now living her ambition to be an estate agent. Kelsie deals with enquiries, books viewings, deals with offers and carries out administrative tasks with precision. Having finished her education this is Kelsie first full time role and she is thriving. Kelsie lives in Gunton with her family
Peppa was working in Great Yarmouth for a competitor but wanted to get back to work in the area that she lives in and is passionate about. Peppa oversees the running of our Stalham office, deals with enquiries, negotiates offers, progresses sales and even finds time to get out and carry out accompanied viewings. Peppa lives in Sutton with her family
Claire is an accomplished negotiator and handles a diverse range of tasks in our Stalham office. From carrying out viewings to negotiating offers and dealing with ongoing sales, Claire always has focus on the client. Having joined us from a lengthy career in the civil service and 3 years in the charity sector, Claire has thrived in estate agency. Claire is a keen athlete and lives in Ormesby with her husband Chris (also at Aldreds) and family.
Tracie has a very diverse role at Aldreds. On weekdays she can be found in our Stalham office dealing with enquiries, negotiating sales and carrying out viewings. Her Saturdays are spent in Gorleston carrying out the bulk of the weekend viewings. A new homes specialist, this is Tracie second time around with Aldreds, originally working for us 20 years ago before rejoining the team in 2012 after spending time abroad. Tracie lives in Gorleston.
